La Fin Du Monde is an experimental project born in the early
2008.
Two people are behind this project : Disruptor who produced
the Video and Dedali who recorded the soundtrack.
La Fin Du Monde is their first public release and also their
first collaboration.
La Fin Du Monde is intended to be a series of limited Audio
& Video works to be release on the menstrualrecordings.org label.
The second chapter is already in the making.
La Fin Du Monde is the realistic vision of our modern society
with its engulfed and psychothic atmosphere.

Musica da vedere, immagini da ascoltare. Questi gli intenti primari de La Fin Du Monde progetto multimediale detenuto da Disruptor (visual) e Dedali (soundtrack), due menti affini e complementari la cui alleanza ha il compito di inaugurare questa nuova collana di esperimenti audio/video della Menstrual Recordings. Se conferire una valenza morfologica alle onde sonore è una pratica a noi meglio nota come musica della visione, coniugare elementi di illusione acustica al fenomeno ottico di forma/colore è il rovescio della stessa medaglia che l'autore della lunga suite strumentale è deputato a rivestire. Ne consegue un insieme sinergico d'idee che nasce dall'osservazione disincantata della realtà: la discesa agli inferi di un processo esiziale raccontata sullo schermo della suggestione pura.

Music to be watched, images to be listened to. These are the
primary intent of La Fin Du Monde, multimedia project led by
Disruptor (visual) and Dedali (soundtrack), two affine and complementary
minds which artistic alliance has the task to inaugurate this
new series of audio/video experiments released by the menstrualrecordings
label. If giving a morphologic value to sound waves is a practice
better known as vision music, combining elements of acoustic
illusion to the optical phenomenon form/colour it's the reverse
of the same medal that the author of the long instrumental suite
is responsible to assume. What follows is a synergic whole of
ideas born out of a disenchanted observation of reality: the
descent to hell is a deleterious process told on the screen
of pure suggestion.

(...) Più ruvido il suono della fine del mondo di Dedali.
Le interperanze sono lontane, ma lo sciamare di oggetti (simili
a passaggi distorti di veicoli su un autostrada a media distanza)
e lo sciabordare in panpot di pseudo-metalli tiene in contatto
con la stagione post - Come Organisation.
Il video di Disruptor pare proporre l'immaginario negativo-inquietante
del monoliite di Kubrik.

AUDIO: filamenti sonori s'inerpicano su scoscese colline modulatorie,
mentre il senso di angoscia si affievolisce in un mare disorganico
di note diffuse. E' la fine dell'inizio.
VIDEO: legamenti vertiginosi che si tuffano nell'oblio della
liquidità ancestrale, costellata di sprazzi visuali ancorati
all'intelligibile. E' l'inizio della fine.
